There's 2 types of Work Schedule:
1> Fixed Work Schedule
- Attendance will be captured at Attendance module
- No restriction on when to check in/out
2> Shift Work Schedule
- Attendance will be captured at Shift module
- Only can check in if there's shift assigned
Please ensure the Work Schedule Type for shift employee is set to ‘Shift Work Schedule’ and not Fixed Work Schedule.
To Setup the Employee Work Schedule Type
Go to Employee Management – Employee Maintenance.
Select the employee, click Edit/View to enter to the employee profile.
Go to Official Info – Work.
Click on drop down menu of Work Schedule Type and select Shift Work Schedule.
Click Update and Submit to save the changes.
