Public holidays for the subsequent year will be reflected automatically during the Year End activities.
All you need to do is to go through the holidays and make the necessary adjustment if required.
If there's any special holiday announced by the government subsequently, please create the holiday if it will be observed by your company.
Holiday List
All preset public holidays will be listed at Attendance Management > Holiday Setup. You may click Export to generate the listing in Excel format.
Click view for details or edit to amend accordingly if required. You may also deactivate or delete the public holiday if your company is not observing that public holiday.
If you need to add a new holiday, click Add Holiday.
- Input the Holiday Name
- Select the Start and End Date
- Select the Country
- Select whether it is a National Holiday
- Select the States if it is NOT a National Holiday
- Click Save once done
Holiday Group
If there's different public holiday entitlement for different team, you may create Holiday Group and assign them according to your business requirements.
At Holiday Group section, click Add Holiday Group
- Enter Name & Remarks
- At Holiday Assignment, click Add Holiday button to assign Holiday(s) into the Group
- Select holidays that you would like to assign into the Group and click OK upon completion.
- Go to Target Rule and click Add Criteria to indicate the target or who will be subject to this policy.
- Select the Criteria Key from the drop-down menu. All available selections based on criteria selected will be displayed.
- Select the relevant Value and click OK. By default the condition is set to In where you can change if not relevant.
- If you need more than one criteria, click Add Criteria and repeat the above step.
- Click Preview button to check the rules.
- Click Save once done.
Note:
Employees that do not falls within a holiday group will entitle the default Holidays according to the holiday list.
