How to ensure total hospitalization leave and sick leave do not exceed 60 days?

According to the first proviso of Section 60F(1) of the Employment Act 1955,

Paid sick leave = Non-hospitalization sick leaves + Hospitalization sick leave = 60 days per calendar year

Hence, if your company are practicing the above, you may automate the auto deduction of hospitalization leave whenever an employee apply a sick leave.

Go to Leave Management > Leave Setting
Select Hospitalization Leave and click Edit
At Policy, go to Deduct Earn Leave from the Usage of
Select Sick Leave from the drop down list.

The link between Sick Leave and Hospitalization Leave is already setup, and for all sick leave application, it will automatically deduct the Hospitalization Leave entitlement so that the aggregate of both leaves does not exceed 60 days.
