Yes, it is possible for users to fake their attendance using GPS spoofing apps. However, PeopleX HR Tech has several features in place to minimize this risk, including :

• Allows users to take a photo during check-in or out to verify their location and presence. The photo provides an additional layer of verification that makes it more difficult for users to falsify their attendance and helps to ensure the accuracy of attendance records and minimize the risk of fraud or spoofing.  
• The ability to detect and flag suspicious GPS data. If a user is detected using a fake GPS app, they will not be able to check in to the app.
