Employee Handbook is where you can centralize all the company's policies and procedures in one place, making it easier for employees to access and stay up-to-date.
The feature allows you to create categories to group your handbooks, and you can also set permissions to restrict access to specific individuals or departments as needed.
Handbook Category Creation
First, go to HR & Benefits Administrative > Employee Handbook Category to create the category so you can categorize the employee handbook or policy accordingly.
All existing categories will be listed here. Click view for details or edit to amend accordingly if required. You may also deactivate or delete the category if required.
Click Add new category to create a new category. Enter the mandatory fields that marked * and other info. Once finished click Save.
Uploading an Employee Handbook or Document
Next, proceed to HR & Benefits Administrative > Employee Handbook to upload document.
Documentation uploaded will be listed here. Click view for details or edit to amend accordingly if required. You may also deactivate or delete the handbook if required.
- Click Add Employee handbook to upload document.
- Enter the Name of the document and select the Category from the drop-down option.
- Click Upload Document to upload and select the document to upload.
- If the document is only applicable to a certain group of employees, click on the Add Criteria at the Target Rule. Ignore this step if all employee can access to the document.
- Select the criteria key from the drop-down list that matches the employee group you want to target and choose your selection from the available selections based on criteria selected.
- Click OK to add the criteria. If you need more than one criteria, click Add Criteria and repeat the above steps.
- By default, the condition is always In, meaning the document will be accessible to employees who match the criteria. If you want to change this condition, click on the dropdown menu and choose another condition, such as Not In, Greater than, etc.
- Click Preview to check your rules.
- Click OK and Save once done.
