Creating an accurate and comprehensive organizational chart is crucial and time-consuming. PeopleX simplifies organization chart generation by automatically generating the organization charts, allowing for quick modifications and downloading, saving time and effort.
Navigate to Organization Chart and complete the creation in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Employee Selection
Setting up your criteria for employees that need to be included by selecting the relevant criteria from the drop-down list under Criteria Key. Choose a relevant value in the pop-up window accordingly. If you need to set more than one criterion, click on Add Criteria and repeat the step.
Click Preview to check the rules you set and click Next when you're done.
Step 2: Root Employee
Select the root employee or the highest-level position who will be at the top of the chart and click Next.
Step 3: Preview
The organization chart is automatically generated. You can review and make necessary refinements if necessary. You can click on the respective icon to adjust the size of the chart and view the full screen. You may also locate an employee using the search bar.
You can find options to customize the display:
- Show horizontal level: This allows you to control how many hierarchical levels are displayed in the chart while other levels will be hidden from the visual representation.
- Arrange vertically from level: If there are no subordinates below a certain level, you can choose to arrange the nodes or cards vertically instead of expanding horizontally. This helps to maintain a more compact and readable chart.
If you need additional customization options, click on the setting icon.
- Card Content: Tick the content options that you want to include in the nodes or cards of the chart. Use the up/down arrow button to adjust the positioning of the content within nodes or cards of the chart.
- Generation Option: Select the desired number of hierarchical levels or the depth of the hierarchy that you want to generate.
Click on the Apply button to reflect the advanced customization you have made.
Once you have reviewed and finalized the organization chart, you can Export it to PDF or JPG format.
This allows you to save and share the chart in a widely compatible file format for easy distribution or printing.
