Automate your approval process with PeopleX
The default workflow set by company level and is setup according to the Reporting Line Manager (1 level of workflow).
You have the flexibility to customize or setup workflows according to your requirements via Workflow Management – Workflow Setup.
All workflows are listed in the workflow master list. You can filter records by entering search text in the first row of the table.
To Create a new workflow:
1. Click Add Workflow Master.
2. In the Workflow Form, select the feature for which you want to create the new workflow and enter a name for the workflow to help you identify it.
By default, the status is set to Active, Auto Approve is set to No and the start date is set from today to a future date, which can be changed if required.
- If Auto Approve is set to Yes, the workflow level tab will be hidden due workflow will no longer be applicable.
- You can set the priority of the workflow. If multiple workflows are applicable, the system will apply them based on the following priority:-

- Employee (1st priority)
- Department
- Division
- Branch
- Company (last priority)
3. Next, set your Target Rule for the workflow. This determines the target or who will be subject to this workflow.
- By default, criteria key is set at company level with condition In.
- Click on the drop down to change the criteria or condition if necessary. Click the Value column to display all available selections based on the selected criteria. Select the relevant value and click OK.
- If you need to add more than one criteria, click Add Criteria and repeat the above step.
- Check the rules you’ve selected by using the Preview button.
4. Once you’ve completed the Target Rule, go to Workflow Level to continue defining the workflow level.
Select the Workflow Type from the drop-down list.
- Reporting Manager (approval will flow according to the reporting manager setup) - Input the level of workflow required. (eg: 1 level or 2 levels)
- Employee (specified employee as approver) - Select an employee from the pop out text box as approver
- Reviewer (according to the reviewer setup by employee in Employee Maintenance) - No further value input required. Learn more on Setup workflow by Reviewer!
- Final Approver (approval will flow according to the reporting manager setup until it reach this specified employee as final approver) - Select an employee from the pop out text box
- Responder (only applicable for Shift Swapping Request, employee that received shift swapping request is Responder) – No further value input required
Note: You may click Add Level if you need to set more than 1 rules.

You can set up dynamic approval workflows tailored to different task requirements.
Configure Workflow for Task Requests
Upon setting up the workflow for Task Requests, you'll notice a list of different task requests under the workflow, allowing you to configure each tab accordingly.
Default Workflow Setup
Alternatively, if the same workflow applies to all types of task requests, you can set up the workflow only in the default tab.
