The one time setup process can be done at PeopleX Web portal by the Administrator.
Step 1 - Go to Attendance Management > Kiosk Setup
- All kiosk created will be listed here. You can filter the record by entering the search text in the first row of the table. Click view icon to view the details or edit icon to amend accordingly if required.
- You may also deactivate or delete the kiosk by clicking on respective icon. If you need the record in excel, Click Export button.
Step 2 - Click Add Kiosk and update all the mandatory fields accordingly. Select the kiosk type: -
- Clock In : Kiosk will only Check in when face detected
- Clock Out : Kiosk will only Check out when face detected
- Clock in/Out : User can use voice command Hi for Check in or Bye for Check out OR press the Check in / Check out button respectively.
Step 3 - Go to Location. Key in the address, the latitude & longitude will auto show once location detected.
Step 4 - Go to Employee List to set the permission for employees to check in/out with this kiosk.
- By default, criteria key is set at company level with condition In.
- Click on the drop down to change to other criteria or condition if necessary. Click the Value column to display all available selections based on criteria selected. Select the relevant value.
- If you need more than one criteria, click Add Criteria and repeat the above step. Check your rules selected via Preview button.
- Click Save once done.
Step 5 - New Kiosk ID and Code will be generated automatically.
This is the ID and password to login to kiosk mode from a device
Subsequently, If you need to edit the info or generate a new code, click edit from the Kiosk Setup to return to the Kiosk details.
Click Generate New Code to reset the code/password to login to Attendance Kiosk mode.
